Things Can Shine in the Dark
Come along and spend dark nights with a Pitbull Terrier, to enjoy the amazing nature of Pink; a two year old dog. While I observe, discover, learn, and gather fascinating features of her beautiful nature. To come up with questions and soon after come up with an answer.

Is it bad
Every noise, even the slightest noise she looks up and loudly barks. Every touch, she closes her eyes. Every second, she lives what life is. Not knowing the mysterious, or different emotions. Barking to what is heard when they hear a sliet movement. Dogs have really good hearing there are those hearing dogs are for deaf people which are service dogs, all end up having a strong connections with owners, but my dog is different I would say. "She looks at the wall and barks, she stands on the house and starts scratching it, what does this mean." Filed notes 11/02 It was strange because it was the first time and didn't happen very often. Strange things have been happening in my house lately, my mom believes in witch crafting and believes she's been cursed because of all the weird things going on, " I woke up with a bite on my neck and I scratch on my face." She claimed. My mom ends up showing me. This is crazy, it doesn't let me sleep at night, but I believe that maybe what my mom told me is a lie and she's just trying to freak me out but then again my dog and it could've been my brothers fighting in a room so she heard something. Plus my mom wants me to stop watching scary movies at home she forbids them. Everytime everybody has gone to sleep I feel like I'm being watched or something. Something similar has happened, a few years ago I was babysitting my brothers and sister. My brother was in my moms room while the rest of us were in the living room. When all of the sudden I hear my brother screaming his guts out. I run into the room there is a doll laying on the bed so my brother was terrified of it I grab him and bring him to the living room. Later I go back in the room and the doll is standing next to my moms bed. I freak out, I get confused. Does this explain the weird behavior of Pink? Or is our mind playing with us? I feel a little safer around Pink then something gets into her she attacks me randomly, it's like a love and hate thing. Does this explain why she cries at night? No but what happened with the doll could've been one of my brothers pranks now that I am honking about it. Either way I've been busy with school and work I'm not spending as much time as I used to or as much as I would like to doing everything else. One thing I know is that pink needs a lot of attention, that's what she has showed by the way she has been acting. A couple of days ago I've noticed this weird bugs they are everywhere in the house, I think they suck blood. I've killed many, but there is so much more and each day there is more maybe the weather change is making these bug like things be in side my house, It has also been getting so much darker earlier around five in the afternoon it has all changed, but that's just a part of nature. It's all different when my sister is around with Pink, but by the time I get home from work it's too late some days I have time because my sister is awake other I don't because she is sleeping. When my sister is awake I take pictures of them together. She seems so let go cause everytime I'm around she just goes for me, maybe she has found an equal balance with my sister. Everything scary that was going on was just my imagination showing connections, I'm always tired so maybe I'm just crazy .

Big changes
In spring flowers bloom, in winter snow is on the ground, in fall leaves fall, and in summer there is those long summer nights. I don't only see change in seasons, but the change in nature, the way us humans change. Our skin gets lighter or it gets darker same thing with our hair. There is beauty to everything. This kind of changes I'm seeing in my dog. The way her mood changes, I've only noticed one and in autumn she seems to get sad quit alone. After our little incident I haven't been taking her out anywhere. We've been home, she sleeps in the living room and well I decided to sleep in the living room also. All she did was cry and I wasn't sure what to do, I got up but I had work early the next day and I couldn't sleep. Later I saw that she hasn't been eating very much, I went to scolari's and bought her some chicken I could cook for her, today I put the chicken to cook. I haven't feed it to her but I will pretty soon hopefully she likes it, wants it, and eats it. The way she's been acting has it been the weather? I'm I not giving her what she needs? Is she depressed?
My sister loves this dog, I won't let my sister around much when I'm observing but I noticed they are both calm Around each other and it warms my heart. My sister is always laughing its so adorable. The poem, "Her Face appears quite innocent," By Susanne Wighins Bunch from A dogs world, explains how a dog really appears to be to what it really is inside. Digging a little deeper to feelings to showing how well one gets to know a dog. I felt a connection with it because my dog everytime I observe her, "I look it to her eyes and she tells me a story something true something different than you've heard before." Field notes 10/28

Sometimes bad things happen
I've decided to speed things up a bit, so on 22 October 2014 something strange happened. I walked outside the usual, Pink rushed to the door, but she seemed a little upset. I grabbed the colar getting her ready to go on a run, it's been getting really dark outside when it's early. She was pushing me when I was trying to put the colar on her, then as soon as I got it on good she started scratching the door like she was digging a hole to get out, but she was trying to get in. We left and went to the Marina, I sat down on the grass while she was doing the same old, same old smelling the grass searching for scents. This time it was different she started running around me in circles then she viscously attacks me, she scratched my arm and I got scared. I tried getting up as fast as I could like my life depended on it, when I got up she calmed down so I looked at her and the colar was all over her legs when I was untangling it, she tried to bite me. I moved my hand as soon as I could.... I wasn't so sure about what hurt the most. The fact that she tried to attack me or that she really made me bleed. I was hurt emotionally more than I was physically. I started heading home, wondering why that happened... Wasn't sure about what was going on. When we got home I sat down outside on a chair this time and she just laid there like ..
My mom was upset when she saw me because of the scratches and blood on my arm. I decided to do some research, dogs were originally predators and their closest relatives are wolves. Another example some dogs were raised to fight for example Pit-Bulls they were raised to fight and nowadays certain people think that the dogs are scary and dangerous, it's their nature for them to fight for their lives. Dogs fighting was used for making money bets, gambling, and mostly for entertainment. who would want to see that, right? I believe it's sad how dogs will attack, fight, and kill each other, and still be expected to be nice.
I tried getting videos here, but they are so violent the age restriction won't let me.
Finally I came to the point that she didn't mean to hurt me, she was just frustrated and confused or just wanted to go smell something while I just sat there.

my own world
Lately, I've
been thinking about my question, so I started observing my dog while I run with
her, but I decided to slow down to try to see where she takes me. So this is
how the routine goes, “as soon as I take a step out the door Pink rushes and
sits so I can put her collar on, I just find it funny. She already knows.”
Field notes 10/11. I remember I put her
collar on and I get her in the house so we can go out the front door. She pulls
on me, “she might be impatient or even a little excited, I’m the only one who
takes her out.” Field notes 10/11. I’m
trying to pull her back, but her pulling my hand starts hurting and gets all
red. It’s really painful, but in the end it’s worth out. These past few days
all she wants to do is stop and sniff around as all the stories come to her. I
wonder if they all come out her at once or if they are sorted in a way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZlJ8XfwiNg
I came up with a truth I am crazy. I am also not as frustrated on the walks, I've just let my dog do her own thing. smelling all sorts of things, hard soft cement, green long grass, short grass, dead grass, all sorts of grass.
On, "The Ability of Dogs to Recognize and Cross-match Human Odours," explains how dogs are used to identify criminals from scented items left at the crime scene. Dogs not only can do that but also identify body parts due to their collective scents. Dogs are able to match hand scents, it all takes training, just like everything else.
I find it crazy, but amazingly wonderful. Then again not so great we never know, people could be loosing their jobs because of this. Are dogs even meant for it, to fight crime. I know dogs are mans best friend and I find it true. How do dogs have his collective sense of smell and how does it work, how long do they remember for?

Is it Real?
Am I just crazy? I've been watching my dog and get frustrated because I can't figure it out. Pink tries to tell me things, but I wish I would understand, I know she knows something we don't. Mysteriously amazing unseen human thing; storms, earthquakes, seizures(heart strokes), labor, illness(cancer). All which are things customers at scolari's food and drug comp. have said, is there more? How? How can I find the answers? How does this happen? "All I can say is that dogs have a good nose, good sense of smell." Field notes 10'8'14
Smell so strong that can tell stories or even memories, crazy right? I've been thinking about doing some crazy research and find the answer or some answers and experiment because I have much questions, based on what dog owners tell me. Well then their we have service dogs for people with disabilities most of which are trained by an organization.
So cute!
My dog, my dog is beautiful even though I don't understand what she's trying to tell me I think I will take more time to observe her. We leave the kitchen window open to the back porch and she always sticks her head in and stares. Often she's been barking at me a lot and I'm not sure why. Hopefully I'll find out soon as I watch her closely. I've also niticed that it gets dark super early and the temperature is dropping. No more ants outside yay, but it's so cold. I just feel like I'm going crazy with the sense and I can't seem to see what's going on.

Something new
As I watch my dog even more I begin to notice new things. Previously I talked about how dogs have more senses. Well let's start with all the senses they do have. It's been told that dogs only see in black and white, but could their be more to it? What if they can see colors but not as bright? The main senses from humans and dogs are sight, hearing, and smelling. When I take Pink out I've noticed that dogs mostly communicate by smelling which is crazy, but that's why dogs mark their spot, their territory. Or how dogs can smell your dogs when your around, crazy, righty? I wonder if the beauty of dogs being able to see or feel or even smell emotions of humans. Or how they can tell what's going to happen before it happens. At Scolari's where I work employes come in and tell me stories about how their dogs can tell that going to have a stroke or something before it happens, it's fascinating. The beauty and secrets or the unbelievable nature.

When I'm running with my dog I notice how people move and try to ignore my dog, I notice the fear in their eyes and motions. My dog isn't scary, she might be big and she is a pit-bull, but she has a big heart. She won't hurt anyone who's not a threat,( as in if you try to hurt her or my family or maybe even I she will attack) a little hero, my best-friend. I see the way she feels or it's more like feeling. She hides behind me because she's also scared. When I look into her eyes I feel a rush of emotions where I can see and feel everything she feels, it's pretty unexplainable, it gets to me more times then others.
